Partner Yoga Workshop When: February 12, 2012 10:00 am-Noon
Now is a great time to get your body tuned up for the 2012 Golf Season. Date: April 14, 2012 The Five Tibetan Rites: This workshop consists of a series of exercises that originated with the ancient Tibetan monks. This system of movement will harmonize and balance the energy centres in the body. Some of the benefits attributed to the Rites include a more youthful appearance, deeper sleep, pain and arthritis relief, weight loss, increase of energy and greater physical strength and flexibility. When: January 14, 2012 Mother & Daughter Yoga Workshop: Celebrate Mother's Day and bond with your mother or daughter while you both have fun practicing yoga poses together. This workshop will involve some posture flows, partner poses and guided meditation. Spend a day exploring and nurturing your relationship with your mother or daughter. Daughters must be at least 12 years old to participate. No yoga experience necessary. When: May 12, 2012 1:00 - 3:00 pm Restorative Yoga Workshop: This workshop includes gentle stretches, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, and traditional yoga poses to increase range of motion of the major joints. Restorative Yoga is a profoundly healing form of yoga that is quickly gaining popularity especially amongst those students who have limitations, injuries or who simply prefer to move at a slower pace. This mindful practice is self-nurturing, allowing space and time to deeply restore and heal from daily stress. This practice can also help to dismantle chronic tension patterns, improve immune function, and bring the body and mind back to their original state of balance. When: March 24, 2012 1:00 - 3:00 pm |
