I can't say how happy I was when you started your classes in Brooks. I have always done yoga on my own from books or T.V. so of course it was an on again off again thing. I am lucky to be fairly flexible but in recent years my back and hips were giving my problems. Having someone teaching in Brooks on a regular basics is a geat benefit. Over the years I have noticed increased muscle strength, body toning and my back and hips seldom give me a problem. The amazing thing is when I notice a tight spot in my body while I'm practising with that thought the spot relaxes. Peggie There are three factors that provide quality to life at any age. They are flexibility, strength and balance. As we age these three factors become even more important in determining the quality of our lifestyle.Yoga is a practice that addresses all three of these factors. As I age I can feel the effects of the aging process, and my yoga practice has definitely improved and continues to maintain my flexibility, my balance and my strength in the physical realms but also in emotional and spiritual realms as well. Dr Don McIver DC This is my second year at Inner Spirit Yoga. I love the classes, the instructor and the new studio. Although I am a novice, I always feel encouraged and capable in Christine's classes. As I work to make yoga part of my day to day life, I continue to see the benefits that come from being active. It’s been a great experience! Thank you. Bonnie Hi Christine I am in Brazil right now but would love to say that... Roger "Christine is amazing! Not only does she vary the routine each week by engaging us in a variety of poses to expand our practice but in a short time she has really helped me to improve my postures." Cheryl As a student of Christine's yoga classes for the past 7 years, I thoroughly enjoy each and every class and continue to make yoga a priority in my life, in part, due to her lessons. She continues to make her classes enjoyable and interesting, and is always meticulous in her lesson planning. With her new studio under her belt, opportunities for improvement become limitless.Christine's strongest attribute is her willingness to continue to explore and learn insights about her own growth. Christine's new yoga studio is bright, clean, quiet, warm and spiritual. The surroundings are very conducive to a constructive yoga practice with information to support a personal practice in the form of books, videos, mats, blocks, straps and other items such as yoga carry bags, candles etc. This is every person's dream studio.Inspiration can be found in the plants, words, and general decor. With each week that passes, new and interesting elements are added. My personal story starts with a struggling obese person who is now merely fat and certainly happier. Along the way I've figured out that "I'm worth it", and mostly make time for myself and personal reflections. I began yoga for the physical benefits, but continue for the spiritual support. Inge |
