Class Etiquette

In my classes, I emphasize the importance of each individual to honour their body and to work at their own pace. This creates a comfortable, nurturing environment in which people can relax, let go of stress and ease deeply into their inner self where all healing and inspiration occur. With gentle guidance and attention to detail, I help students create wellness in mind, body and spirit.

What to Remember

1)
Please be considerate of your fellow classmates by being on time for class.
2)
Wear light, comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in. Yoga is done barefoot, so no special footwear is required. Please keep your outdoor footwear on the black mats at all times.
3)
Due to allergies, it not recommended that you wear perfume or cologne when you come to class. A clean, odour-free body is greatly appreciated.
4)
I have some yoga mats which students can borrow, but of course bring your own if you have one. You require a proper yoga mat and I sell good quality studio mats for as little as $25.00 if you wish to purchase one from me. An exercise mat is not recommended for safety reasons.
5)
Out of respect for your fellow students, please do NOT bring cell phones or pagers to class.
6)
Try to eat a light meal at least 2 hours before class and drink plenty of water because it is not recommended that you drink water during the class.
7)
Please inform the instructor of any activity which you cannot safely perform and do not do any pose that you feel may cause injury to yourself.
